The Brief

Celebrated designer and artist Camilla Franks is a name synonymous with Australian fashion and lifestyle. In 2004, Camilla opened her first boutique, at the world famous Bondi Beach.

Camilla’s rapid success has seen her signature colourful and handmade graphic prints take centre stage in her 19 Australian boutiques and in over 250 high-end boutiques and luxury department stores worldwide including Harrod’s, Bloomingdales, Selfridges, Nordstrom and SAKS.

it works were engaged to enable growth and distribution with a new international omni-channel solution architecture. Camilla required information around appropriate investment in technology solutions and mapping business processes, striking a balance between science and art to maintain creativity and profitability.

The Solution

it works ran their tried and trusted method of mapping use cases, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) requirements capture, request for proposals (RFP) and vendor selection process. The resulting product and implementation partner selection fulfilled Camilla’s requirements and is poised to provide and support the desired business outcomes.

After the successful completion of this engagement, it works were invited to work with the Camilla team to both Project Manage the implementation and coordinate the business change activities.

The Results

it works is currently managing the Netsuite ERP deployment through every part of the business, providing capability uplift in critical business areas. The business has improved services and operations across IT, logistics, business change management, financial planning, range planning, integration and supply chain management.

Camilla is now technically positioned to achieve their potential on the national and international fashion stage.
