The Brief

Super Retail Group is one of Australasia’s top 10 retailers with over 600 speciality brick-and-mortar stores and annual turn over in excess of $2 billion. Brands include Rebel Sports, Super Cheap Auto, BCF – Boating Camping Fishing, Amart Sports, Workout World and Ray’s Outdoors.

SRG partnered with it works to capture the eCommerce requirements and to recommend an enterprise solution that would meet the needs of their diverse range of specialty brands.

The Solution

it works ran an in-depth, two-month discovery and workshopping project to enable SRG to fully understand their unique potential. Consisting of 41 meetings with 52 stakeholders, the project identified 600+ prioritised and ratified requirements for each of SRG’s three business divisions.

The outcome was a comprehensive set of documents which was the basis for our feedback and presentation to the board. The documented eCommerce Architecture model was handed over for continued population, along with a set of recommendations, allowing SRG to move confidently into the vendor and integration partner RFP process.
